At the end of the seventies when we put together our ranges of
records we needed about one meter of space in our shelf. From then on we
started to extend our collection and are now proud to count around 20 000 LPs,
6 000 singles, some hundreds of 78s and more than 1 000 CDs from nearly
all over the world. Most of the items date from the years between 1956 (Elvis,
Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry) and 1978 (e.g. ABBA, Sweet, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart,
Punk). And the two voluminous parts of our collection are dedicated to the
Rolling Stones and the Beatles, followed by Elvis and Bob Dylan.

Besides that you will find the "Mega Bands" of the Eighties (U2 or The Dire
Straits), an extensive section "Folk and Country Music", the History of Jazz,
Singer/Songwriters, and the German smash hits of the Fifties and Sixties (Peter Kraus,
Conny, Caterina Valente, Freddy Quinn).
But the records are not
the only attractions: In the meantime we put together about 2000 originals of
concert- and pr-posters (from the 60ies up to today), 1 000 music-magazines
(among them many issues of the MELODY MAKER, the NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS or the
BILLBOARD from the Sixties and Seventies), hundreds of books, lots of
curiousities and rarities of the early days of rock 'n' roll and many documents
to the subject of contemporary history either on records or in magazines and
books. - Old radios, radio-sets, record-players, tape recorders, TV-sets and a
working Rock-Ola-Musicbox from 1968 round off our collection.
Last but not least: In addition to all the items on rock and pop
music we've got a notable number of movie-posters , some hundred autographs of
German and international film stars (Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, James
Stewart, Marlon Brando, Charlton Heston, Gary Cooper, Ingrid Bergman, Romy
Schneider, Curt Jürgens, Hardy Krüger, Zarah Leander, etc.), film magazines,
books, sound tracks.
