Bayern Munich striker Gerd Müller sang ”Dann macht es bumm“ in 1969. In 1974 it has been re-released as flip-side for the title ”Das gibt ein Schützenfest“. |

| There were a lot of German pop songs about football in the sixties – for example ”Er steht im Tor“ by Norwegian singer Wencke Myhre, ”König Fußball“ by Italian Vittorio and ”22 Beine und die zwei von meiner Braut“ by US-boy Gus Backus. |

Two rare longplayers: Max Merkel played for Germany and Austria and became coach of several Bundesliga-teams later. ”Uwe, Uwe schrie der Papa“ by ”Adam und die Micky′s“ is about famous German and Hamburg striker Uwe Seeler. |
