The Rolling Stones
Six month later another show caused sensation in the town-museum of Freudenberg: "It's rolling in for the Stones" was the title of our next exhibition in spring 1998. - And again visitors came from all over the country. "You seem to be in Bill Wyman's 'Sticky Fingers Café' in Londen" was a visitors' opinion. Next comment: "How easy it is to feel young and wild again - though it's no longer my hottest wish to get married to Mick Jagger !" - " Superb !" - "Top! As a rock-grandpa I find it an extraordinary exhibition."
The documentation of the history of the "greatest Rock'n'Roll band of the world" from its roots was not only dated right before the start of the "Bridges to Babylon Tour". It began right at the time when the book, titled "The Rolling Stones Over Germany", was published. Thommy is one of the authors and it is brought out by Verlag Maria Thomas, Siegen.
The exhibition on the "Stones" was such a success that three other Stones presentations with changing exhibits followed in Lüdenscheid, Siegen and once more in Freudenberg.
