Photographer Günter Zint from Hamburg runs the St. Pauli-Museum in rememberance of the Star-Club times. He is one of the most important witnesses of that time and published several books on this item (”Große Freiheit 39“, ”Portrait of Music“).

To be independent from the very popular youth magazine ”BRAVO“, Star-Club founder Manfred Weißleder produced the ”Star-Club-News“, first in black and white, lateron as a colured magazine. It was edited from August 1964 till December 1965.

Tony Sheridan was part of the Star-Club. He played the opening concert and during the following years he appeared many times on stage. In 1961 he made some records with The Beatles as his backing band.
