Considering the predominance of the SU President John F. Kennedy named an ambitious aim: The USA should succeed in the 1960s in bringing a man on the moon and safely back to Earth. This expression heated up the phantasy of the songwriters and cover designers even in Germany. We have got two items of the American performer Gus Backus: He is shown on the lp cover ”Original-Polydor-Schlagerrevue“ and had his own single ”Der Mann im Mond“.
