”What seems to be a fairy tail today may be reality tomorrow. Here comes a story of the day after tomorrow:
Nations don′t exist any longer. There is just mankind and their settlements in space.
People live on distant stars; the bottom of the oceans is prepared for residences.
With a speed you just cannot imagine space ships cross the milky way.
One of these space ships is called ORION. A tiny part of a gigantic safety system that protects the earth from threat out of the universe. We will accompany the ORION and their crew on their patrol on the verge of infinite space...“

With these words each episode starts in 1966, the TV series ”Space patrol“ is cult today and came out as a film in 2003 called ”Rücksturz ins Kino“.
