On Thursday, May 27. 2010 British singer/songwriter Julian Dawson presented his book on Nicky Hopkins in the crowded sitting-room of our rock-museum which was exclusively decorated with LPs the brilliant piano player Hopkins has played on. Dawson read some short chapters of his book showing the numerous engagements in the career of the great musician. After around three hours an interesting evening ended and the audience looked into the life of a genius pianist who nearly was not noticed during his career and almost forgotten after his death – into a life aside the foot-lights.

Visitors from Aachen with Julian Dawson: Willy Rövenich from Stones-tribute-Band Forty Licks, Manfred Engelhardt, president of Rolling-Stones-fanclub Aachen/Stolberg, and Dr. Axel Gerick from Beatles-tribute-band Get Back.
