There′s an impressive section of albums dealing with US-President John F. Kennedy, who has been assassinated in 1963. There are also lps reminding his brothers Robert and Edward.
Mao Tse-Tung was in the sixties worldwide an idol for the left-wing student movement. The picture on the left shows an lp, on which German actor Hans Messemer reads Mao′s lyrics, speeches and writings. The other album deals very critically with the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party.
Charles de Gaulle was leader of the French resistance against Nazi-Germany and became President of France in the late Fifties. – Winston Churchill was Great Britain′s Prime Minister during World War II and from 1951 to 1955. – Adlai Stevenson failed twice in the Fifites to become US-president; John F. Kennedy nominated him US-ambassador at the United Nations. – Lyndon B. Johnson was vice president of the United States and succeeded John F. Kennedy after his assassination.
