Former Deep-Purple keyboarder Jon Lord performed his Concerto For Group And Orchestra, written 40 years ago, with the Siegen based tribute band Demon′s Eye and the Philharmonic Orchestra Südwestfalen in the Siegerlandhalle. 4000 fans celebrated this special event and were happy to listen to some Deep Purple-classics as well: ”Child In Time“ or ”Pictures Of Home“ completed by some of Lord′s solo pieces (”The Sun Will Shine Again“ or ”Pictured Within“). We took the opportunity to get some of our Jon Lord lps signed and were very glad about the fact that Jon Lord put his name on the acoustic guitar which was signed by the members of the actually touring Deep Purple Band in August 2008. |
